Creative Costume Awards

At the 2010 Jon Smith Subs Race For The Arts, set for Saturday, May 8, new awards have been established for the most creative and entertaining costumed, theatrical or themed acts by INDIVIDUALS and GROUPS of RUNNERS or WALKERS, who register for the race or walk.

This includes post race entertainment, food, goody bag, and an official Race For The Arts Tech shirt. Proceeds support arts programs in the schools. For EVERY 10 PARTICIPANTS your school registers, you receive a portion of the proceeds for your arts program at your school. Make sure to write your school name and department on the official registration form.

This contest is also OPEN TO VOLUNTEERS, who are signed up to work on race day.

Show your support and bring honor to your school by highlighting color, humor and artistic talent in The Race. Make it a RACE OF ARTISTS!!!

In addition to registering for the race or walk or volunteering on race day, all Individual and Team Artists must check in for the New Awards Competition prior to The Race at the Creative Artists and Track Teams at the John Prince Park Center Drive Pavilion.

I-95 to 6th Avenue.  West to Congress Avenue. South on Congress to the entrance on the east side of the road to John Prince Park.
Registration and Check In will be at the Center Drive Pavilion.
